Drama classes increase her self-esteem, self-confidence, teamwork skills and creativity, all while having lots of fun. Drama has given her a love for reading, poetry and music as well as positive relationships and happy memories.”
Confidence to perform and express themselves creatively
My children love being a part of MCY theatre, and the skills they are developing through this avenue I believe are immense. I’m amazed at the confidence they have to perform in front of people and express themselves creatively. To communicate confidently I feel is so important in school, career and life in general.
The teachers are so wonderfully supportive and always going above and beyond for their students, for this I am so grateful.
My son (7) tells me his favourite part of drama is the show and dressing up in the costumes. It makes him feel good when everyone claps.

My 13 year old son has been going to MCY Theatre, formally Marlborough Childrens Theatre, for 3 years and he loves it. I have watched him grow into a strong and confident young man as he has learnt the necessary skills needed to perform on stage. He has always been creative, but he had nowhere to explore those talents until he came to MCY. He now has plenty of opportunities to be challenged and grow even more confident within himself.
